Absolutely love 'the beast' as I call it. I've had dogs and cats my entire life and this is one of the best vacuums that I have found to include a much higher priced one. It does an amazing job getting not only the cat and dog fur but also any dust that is brought in from outside. I vacuum every day and being able to take apart the canister and clean the inside is very easy and a great idea. The only minor frustration I have is the wheels extend slightly at the sides and tend to catch on corners otherwise I'm 100% satisfied. Well done Bissel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is quieter than my last few vacuums. I can't believe how much dirt was in my carpet and car hair. Cleanest the floor has been in long time. It was so easy to use. Like not using bag however if not careful it can get messy.

Vaccuum shuts off on medium pile rugs. I tried to vaccuum bathroom mats, which collects a lot of hair and it kept turning off. It also failed on entry rug. The whole point of a vaccum is to clean rugs. It is powerful on wood floors but I'd rather it work on carpet. Would not purchase again.

I bought this vacuum for one primary reason: to effectively suck dog hair off my carpet on the first try. (I was tired of having to vacuum over the same area four to five times to get all the dog hair). But I got far more than I expected! Not only did it deliver on its primary purpose, but I am now using it on my hardwood floors, ceramic tile floors, and carpeted stairs as well. It does an excellent job seamlessly going from surface to surface. So now it's my "everything" vacuum. The suction power is great, and so far no pet hair whatsoever has gotten tangled in the brush roller. It works great on my carpeted stairs as well as the long hose reaches far enough to do 6 to 7 stairs at a time, and with the attachment tool it's perfect. I love the LED lights, and the fact that because of the design of this canister vacuum I can easily vacuum underneath chairs, nightstands, the dresser, etc. (all places that an upright cannot go).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a decent vacuum. I bought this to replace my shark rotator NR96 canister vacuum. This is almost the same vacuum except for the way the head detaches. The shark you use your foot to press the tab to release the head for sucking along the walls. This one is not as user friendly as you must bend over and press the button to detach the head. If Bissell will change that in the future. I will sell the one I have and buy the new version. All in all this is a decent vacuum.

I've had an upright most of my life so I bought a bagless, canister this time. I appreciate being able to reach under beds and tables etc., the led lights on the vacuum beater brush and the vacuum on this model is really super on carpet, the retractable cord is a huge plus. The way the vacuum breaks down for different cleaning situations is great. The vacuum shuts off the machine when it gets full. Very nice. Canister is pretty sweet. The improvements could be done on the attachments. The nozzle could be longer and the accessory brush could stand to be thicker. The angle at which the beater brush needs to be angled for optimal cleaning under furniture is an issue. There isn't height adjustments for hardwood to carpet
