[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vacuum cleaner for my in-laws. They have German Shepherd and a cat in the house. For years they were hanging on old vaccum cleaner, one without the rotating brush. The amount of pet hair on their rags were unbelievable. Nevertheless they insisted the old vaccum cleaner was good. At one point we brought our own vaccum cleaner with rotating brush, just to show them the difference. Finally they agreed for us to buy it as a Christmas gift. We got great deal on Black Friday. They already received their new Bissel and used it. Very happy with the results and performance of the vaccum cleaner. They saying it's easy to operate. No problems so far.

Amazingly bad at pet hair

This "Pet Hair Eraser" is hilariously bad at dealing with pet hair, or it would be hilarious if I hadn't paid so much for it. If you don't run the rotating brush constantly, even on hard floors, dog hair gets stuck in the bristles and clogs up the head. If you do run the brush, it twists the hair into long wool-like skeins that get stuck in the tube and have to be removed manually. Where the two halves of the extension wand come together, the inside diameter of the tube is reduced and it becomes easily clogged/jammed. Clumps of dog hair or other matter that do get beyond that point tend to get stuck between the pleated filter and canister wall. It would be far more effective at dealing with dog hair if it came with a plain nozzle and tube without brushes or constrictions. The LED lights on the floor nozzle are a good feature that make it easy to see where the dirt is. There is no onboard storage for the crevices or brush attachments, so you better remember where you left them. The floor nozzle is too tall to reach into the toe space under my kitchen cabinets. "Hands Free Emptying" is anything but. You have to hold the canister with one hand, press the latch with the other, and pry the lid open with a third. It does suck up dirt reasonably well as long as there isn't too much dog hair or other larger debris. All in all, a shop vac would have done a much better job at half the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Note, it shuts off when trying to use it on deep pile carpet. Would also like to see more accessories, like a better brush attachment for the sofa, and a place on the vacuum to keep them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The suction power of the Pet Hair Eraser Premium Canister Vacuum worked extremely well at lifting up dirt and pet hair from our carpets, but it did not adjust floor levels like it states to work on hard floors. I really like the easy clean canister and filters. The extension arm is really nice except it dosnt extend with the attachments, when that's when it would be most useful for hard to reach areas like drapes or blindes. It is a nice vacuum but very awkward to pull around and takes up alot more storage space then an upright.
