This is my fourth Singer machine!

I had not sewn for 25 years and no longer had a machine. I had a few projects to take out for repairs and thought that with this heavy duty machine I could do the repairs. This machine certainly stitched thru the multi layers of outdoor curtain material with ease. I love this machine and really don’t need any more than the basic stitches...I have recommended this to many but they are currently not available...I’m so fortunate to have mine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Timing problems and birdnesting. Machine won't sew

After sewing about 4 feet perfectly, this machine became a nightmare. The timing went off, which I fixed, but nothing stops the thread jamming up around the bobbin or under the fabric. I've spent hours threading, rethreading, different fabrics, threads, needles. Nothing works. After making 1 pillowcase with my brand new machine, it looks like it can't be made to sew. So disappointed in Singer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this machine while sewing masks like so Many other people were. I had Bessie, my Singer 2112 for MANY years and it seized up! Yes I name my machines, they're with me longer than my cars are! I was sad but it gave so many years of good service so I didn't hesitate to buy this machine. It has many new features and I feel spoiled now!! I'd recommend this machine to anyone! And thanks for sending it to me as quickly as possible to keep the projects going!!
