I got this for Christmas from my grandma and made two tops and a dress in my first week! I am so obsessed with knowing how to sew now and this machine is so user friendly, I can find a video for everything I need! I highly recommend this machine for young beginners and intermediates. I bought this machine a couple years ago and love it. My sister then bought one because she quilts and loves it as well. So when my Grandaughter called and told me she wanted to learn and was going to buy a used one I immediately bought and her one for her Christmas gift. She is using it. She made her first baby quilt for her best friend with no experience on machine. She loves it too. It's so easy to operate.

Stop Hating on Singer Heavy Duty

Okay I know everyone hates on Singer and specifically Heavy Duty models, but I absolutely love my 4411. I've had it for almost 2 years, with only a small amount of issues. Of those issues, it was usually user error or I was able to make adjustments with out taking it in. There's a certain amount of responsiblity when it comes to owning a sewing machine and a huge part of that is taking the time to know your machine inside and out. Treat her nicely and respectfully and she'll reward you! I think many people don't take the time to troubleshoot and clean it before assuming it's broken. I had to learn this with my old White sewing machine and by comparision the 4411 sews like a dream. I'm only considering upgrading because I want a one step button hole, a tie off option, and a thread cutter.

I bought this machine while sewing masks like so Many other people were. I had Bessie, my Singer 2112 for MANY years and it seized up! Yes I name my machines, they're with me longer than my cars are! I was sad but it gave so many years of good service so I didn't hesitate to buy this machine. It has many new features and I feel spoiled now!! I'd recommend this machine to anyone! I was sewing face masks for my community when my sewing machine broke. I found this machine on the webpage and ordered it right away. Much to my delight, the machine arrived in just five days. It was very easy to setup with no problems. I found the bobbin easy to use and the machine easy to thread. My former sewing machine struggled to sew multiple layers on the face mask. I am very impressed with the ease of how this machine sews through layers of material my former machine struggled to sew through. I could not be happier with my machine and look forward to many years of sewing beautiful things.

I have to say that I am pretty impressed with this machine. I did not want a new machine as I am used to the older ones that weigh a ton and can take abuse. The virus has closed the sewing machine shops and I could not get my beloved older Singer serviced. I am even starting to like the looks of the 4411. Though I still lean toward the older one's for looks. This machine has taken everything that I have thrown at it. That said, I must be careful to change the needle to accommodate the weight of the fabric. My older machines did not care. So far so good. I am happy with the purchase.
