The only thing that would make this machine better for me would be a way to push a button to keep the needle lowered when sewing corners. Great machine! Just what I needed.

I have to give this a 5 star as it would not be fair to provide a lower rating. I am not the person who will be using this, it was bought as a gift. The product was well priced and was shipped very quickly along with my confidence in the brand and this is why I feel the blind 5 star rating is appropriate.

Compared to the very old machine I replaced, this one is a dream! It’s a bit noisy and I’m having trouble with the spool holders not being tight enough to stay on, but other than that I’m really enjoying it.

I received my sewing machine on time learned how to use it last night! I was able to sew a patch onto a jean jacket, good so far! Can't wait to use it on my future projects. Youtube videos were very instructional for a true beginner - I had no idea what I was doing but watched a video on my specific machine by Singer and was sewing in no time!
