The reason I am giving this product a two star rating is because I am having a lot of trouble loading the threading the bobbin. I bought the 4411 only a month ago and used it just once. The first time I could thread the bobbin with no problem. This time I have spent three hours trying to thread the bobbin and it keeps jamming. Help Singer!
Its great works very good , awesome . It surprised me. Ive had another machine it was 25 years old. my parents gave me it on my birthday ,so I love it. Singer
It's a good machine my only critique is the needle placement is off center which makes me worry about larger zig zags i just dont have funds to send it off to be fixed. i miss the push button reverse stitch off to the right like most singers. Lastly the zipper foot needs to be longer and narrower in future. it would be nice to make that available for current owners. the machine very quiet sewing and sews fast and smooth. accepts all types of threads.
I piece quilt tops. That's about the only sewing I do except for a few crafts. I have another machine with bells, whistles and embroidery - but I needed a reliable, fast, workhorse that would speed through chained block pieces. Right out of the box, this appears to do all that I had in mind. I'm certain I will do more with it, but it fills the bill on providing those scant quarter-inch seams needed for piecing.
I just purchased my new machine about a month or so ago and I love, love, love it!..I went with the Singer brand because its the brand my Mother and Grandmother trusted....and now I know why....It sews so effortlessly and is easy to thread!...I named him Greyson; he's so tough I just knew he had to be a "boy"! (smile)...I love the way it can sew sheer to leather with no problem...the price was economical as well; under $140.00... and it's just an overall great machine! Thanks Singer!
