I previously owned a Husqvarna with all the bells and whistles you could buy for it for about 10 years. It was so heavy to put up on my table you needed help and it was so complicated that almost every time I used it I had to get the manual out. The manual itself was horrible. I love this little machine. There are so many little genius things right on the machine itself like threading directions, bobbin thread direction and winding, etc. It's user friendly and I can lift it with one hand. When I think what I spent on my previous machine and what I spent on this one, I have learned a valuable lesson. This one is a little power house and I've owned it for almost a year and love it more each time I use it.

Love this machine. Very easy to thread and to fill bobbins. I made a very beautiful flannel rag quilt with this machine, and it worked beautifully. It takes the thickness of materials I put through it as if it was nothing. I really enjoy working with this machine.

Like: easy to operate, reasonable instruction manual, reliable stitching, fine on straight seams. Dislike: definitely mislabelled as "heavy duty"- almost every start needs a handwheel assist, and it stalls easily on slowing speed for curves and corners.

I bought it recently and so far sewing good. Sometimes I have some problem sewing but I read the manual and find a solution to fix it. I made some nice blankets and some alterations.

i just got the 4411 and i am in love with it, singer is standing up to its great name with this machine, i sew every day and it has eliminated the sewing frustration i had with my other non singer machine, thank you singer for such a great product.

Good Machine

This machine has done very well! I'm using it with 9oz canvas for large curtain panels and it has performed very well. Don't over-tighten the thumb screw holding the needle in! There should be a warning about this in the book, you'll break the needle. Overall a very good machine!

Love my Singer!

Easy to use. Made 2 baby quilts the day after I got it and actually machine quilted them! Stitch in the ditch but I did it! No bunching, thread tension perfect every stitch. Love it, love it, love it!

My 5th Singer machine. This one works great for my heavy sewing projects. Love the features .Only problem is the foot control works only when it feels like it. Something wrong inside. Either needs replaced or fixed. Need to find a solution ..
