A great machine, sews everything

I am sewing men's shirts on it right now, & have sewn pet beds , repaired heavy duty pants, denim purse. This machine is really a great sewing machine to own. I would recommend it.

A great sewing machine for garments & heavy sewing

I love this machine, I have looked for years for a machine that will sew garments & the heavy crafts sewing that I love. I can work on a mans shirt in the morning & a kitty cat bed in the afternoon without any problems. Great machine for a great price. Well done Singer!

Frankly I was never going to buy another Singer based on past experiences years ago but needed an inexpensive heavy duty machine to sew heavy quilting pieces. So far so good until the other day. The bobbin thread was not feeding properly and tangling. I changed the needle and the presser foot from a walking foot to a regular foot. Then it went crazy on me with the needle going up and down when the presser foot was still in an up position. I had to switch machine off to make it stop. But today it is working perfectly so am puzzled by that occurrence. Naturally I hope it will not happen again.

I had a hard time using to top loading bobbin. The directions were a picture and not clear to me. It took multiple attempts for me to get that right.
