Singer Heavy Duty Serger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with my Heavy Duty Serger made by Singer. It was fairly easy to set up and can accommodate four threads, providing more stitch variety. And the color coded threading system made it much easier to thread than other machines I have used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great sewing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a upgraded sewing machine. Love how it operates and gets the job done well. Great to have help from my grandma because i had no clue how to use it at first. Finally did a pair of my jeans that needed help. Overall i love it.

Little Intimidating at First

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've used a serger, and the large instruction manual gave me a little stress at first. If you promise not to report me to the mythical "Man Club" I'll let you know that I actually read the manual prior to using the machine (only 51 pages of instructions per included language, so not that much to read), and most of it is devoted to threading the machine. After reading that I learned that the machine comes pre-loaded with color-coded threads so that the user can tie on the thread of the spools and threading is easy! How thoughtful of Singer. The machine also comes with a threading diagram under the looper cover. I'll mostly use this machine to repair jeans or shorts that I'll wear around the house or shop instead of having to throw them out or ruin my good clothes while working on the car. My regular sewing machine could never handle the heavier fabrics like this serger can. If I decide to use it for lighter-weight fabrics, then I might find the machine intimidating as I try to figure out the thread tension settings.

Great Serger!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heavy duty serger is easy to use. Love the fact that it’s portable. The seam stitching is pretty fast which saves time. You can do 6 different stitches using 2 to 4 threads. It’s smooth , seamless and steady even when working on thick fabrics. Would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Singer Heavy Duty Serger. It has two to four thread capability and provides a variety of different stitches. Threading is fairly easy as it comes with a color coded diagram right on the machine. The stitch length and width can be adjusted and it has a feature for free arm sewing that makes it easier sewing sleeves, legs, cuffs, etc. It has a built-in cutter that can trim excess. Accessories included are needle set, spreader, small screwdriver, spare lower knife, lint brush, and my 2 favorites which are the tweezers (makes needle eye threading easy) and scrap bag that collects excess trimmings. Overall, this machine is wonderful.

The machine I didn't know I needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not think I needed a serger. A plain sewing machine is very adaptable but oh lort was I wrong. While this is a very heavy duty serger and works on very heavy fabrics and it's cutting ability is far more than you would really NEED for a regular sewing project you NEED one. It makes sewing so much easier and faster. Honestly fewer steps. Now I'm a novice obviously so it took me some real time to get it all set up but Singer is a great brand and instructions were easy to follow and if I had issues I found help online a couple times. This is not to say it's hard to do it's just best to follow instructions when you're new to it. Using it was a learning curve as well as it IS meant for sturdier fabrics than I was using at the time. And the overlock stitch Yes Ma'am! It's everything. 10/10 Get yaself one!

The it sews smoothly and holds tight threading so you don’t have to worry about things coming apart ! I would highly recommend this sewing machine! It’s light weight and compact for easy storage as well !
