The delivery was prompt and the machine appears to be in good working order, although I haven't yet had much chance to use it. My only problem is that your warranty registration site will not accept my serger's model number and I can't find a phone number or your site to call in for help.

This serger is loud and prone to jamming unless you are careful. I figured out after several times that I had not lowered the foot before starting up. Once that error on my part was corrected it is serging like a champ. I’ve made a dress and five aprons using it with no complaints. Threading is easy if you watch you tube videos on how to thread it. I’m glad I decided to make the purchase and plan to make good use of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Singer heavy duty serger about a month ago and so far, I am loving it. I am new to using a serger but found it to be very easy to use. The coloring coding on the machine made it very easy to thread. After reading the manual and watching a few how-to videos, I found the serger very easy to use. I tried several different types of fabrics and found this machine could handle all of them with ease. I really like that it works great with thicker fabrics as I was needing to hem some jeans. It did take some getting used to the speed of the serger but I kind of like that now. My only con about the serger is I wish it was a little quieter but it's not a deal breaker. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends. I also look forward to learning more about this machine and it's capabilities.

Pretty much easy to use but I did have trouble with the threading. I think threading is a bit for everyone though. I used the manual to help guide me and that worked out great for me. The four different thread layout is awesome too. It has been such an awesome learning experience. I definitely foresee many years of using this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you set it up it works fine. It just took me a while to get it going, but once I did I was happy with the results. This serger will provide very very professional-looking stitches. Also you don't have to be a professional to be able to use this. Practice initially with some old fabric until you get the hang of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a serger because my grandma had one and she swore by it. I do have experience with a regular sewing machine but this was my first time with a serger myself. I have to say the manual was pretty intimidating and large, I am so glad that Singer has instructional videos online to help first time users like myself. I haven't quite gotten the hang of it. Threading the machine is no easy task yet, but I'm confident with practice and more experience I'll be able able make the fleece blankets I want for my family this Christmas. I do like that the machine is more compact and lighter than I had assumed it would be. It's easy for me to move and I can use it almost anywhere and be comfortable.
