If you’re even a little sensitive to LED’s these are actually the worst. They constantly strobe rapidly and distort everything in the room. Terrible, yet fun, lighting that takes forever to set up.

After taking farrr too long setting these up, cutting them to size where needed, and installing them around my room, I realized they’re extremely harsh. I forget that I’m a bit sensitive to LED’s because most are pretty ok these days, but this light strip strobes and flickers very quickly constantly. It makes me feel like I’m wearing the wrong prescription glasses and that everything is blurry. They make me agitated and look terrible. The color changing is neat, but no matter what setting, they’re incredibly harsh and make every object appear blurry to me. Severely regret buying these.

I should've read closer and noticed that these are RGBIC and not RGBWIC. The product itself is fine, but I'm surprised in 2025 that Govee is still selling non-RGBW LED strips. If you don't plan on using these in white, they're fine, but I returned my set as they're primarily to be used as bias lighting.
