We put these up in my home studio. They look fantastic and have many customization options to choose from in the app. The diffusion is great, all of the lights look like one continuous light rather than many LEDs.

Perfect for the Office

I used these lights to decorate two book shelves for an office makeover but I did not use the covers for them, but wanted them just in case I do wish to use the covers in the future. I love that there's an app to control everything and I can sync all of my Govee lights together. I used 16ft for each bookcase and have a third set that I've decided to repurpose for use under my TV stand in the living room. May these last me for many years to come!

What a wonderful way to transform a room

For my smaller living/tv room, I put the strip lights up in the wall-ceiling corners in a big rectangle—it's very very cool and completely changed the room for the better.
Color accuracy at low brightness level is a little less to be desired (orange, or the warmest white goes a little too green for my taste) and I wish the three kits I put together would be smart enough to create a seamless continuous loop.

Fairly simple to install. Colors look awesome and diffuser gives the lights a clean, modern look. Clips hold the LED's in place so as not to have the lights pushed too close to the diffuser's. Love all the options you get with the Govee app. I mainly use it for ambient lighting, but there are additional options like “white light"which I use for a brighter room, and “rolling"which I use to pair with music. My friends loved it when I had a party.
Only problem I had was not knowing that wherever the connection is between two strip lights is where the patterns start. Originally, I had my lights off center, so I had to rearrange them to be centered to my room. Also, the rails and diffusers will require some cutting using a saw to get the perfect fit in some places.
Overall, great product! A+!

Solid product, just not as dynamic as other light strips from govee

Bought these for my office/game room and mostly love them. The color options aren’t as dynamic as other govee strip lights, but the brightness is there an easy to install.
Would love t see govee sell these light diffusers separately, in case someone were to break a few pieces or have other, bare led strips they want shrouded.
