Definitely worth it

Used these strips w/ covers in my bed room and theyre a total vibe. Bright enough to light my whole room actually. Love the customization options. Be prepared to cut the tracks and cover to perfect size if you want it just right

The covers were difficult to use and the cut points on the lights didn't line up with the covers. Adhesive strips also took paint off the wall. They look nice when one but I do regret my purchase

Major upgrade from last brand I tried

Install was nice and easy, looks beautiful and the channel and cover really helps protect the strip from my animals, as well as nicely diffusing the light, which was needed compared to the dim strip lights I had before (cheap no name brand). The only two things that could make these better would be sideways 90 turns, and a slight app upgrade (but the app my just be user inexperience) while I found a work around for the effect I was trying for I've had trouble creating it without a large amount of automation timers....

Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights with Covers

Pulling the lights out of the package, I was worried that being so many pieces the light would shine through the cracks. The pieces don't snap together, and I wish they would. It would help keep them straight. To my surprise the light did not shine through any cracks and it looks wonderful. It is up against the ceiling, so I have some distance, maybe if I put them around my picture I would see the gaps? I may try it with another set someday. I have it on only one inside corner, and the center of the strip is not directly in the corner. Things have to be perfect or it drives me crazy, so I am not loving scenes like crossing. The light crosses about a foot from the corner and I'm not sure how to fix it. The diffuser works great! Very happy with the overall look. I am hoping I can connect several sets together with the one control box. I need to make it around the room and would like to avoid a bunch of electrical and drywall patching. I can't stand the looks of power cords hanging down the wall so I'll stub the controller into the wall, run a electrical box up to it and put in an access panel.
