Great at bright colors, but terrible low-level dimming performance

Love the color options, the logic, the integrations... all is super cool. But the low-end dimming performance of this strip is frankly terrible. I had in mind several projects where it can use all the brighgness and colors, but then at other times needs to be very dim at night, and this new COB just won't cut it on that latter need. Really sad, as I wanted to love it.
If you want incredible bright colors with amazing control and color changing options, then this is a fantastic strip. But if you are expecting it also to be able to offer late night dim ambient lighting when not doing it's light show, it will not do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the way the colors blend together. The other lights you see each bulb not as good visually. However the price is a bit much and you can't connect other to them
