Such a well thought out knife for someone who wanted to switch to Japanese steel and styles, but grew up using a German or western style chef knife.

The knife is well balanced, appears to hold a sharp edge, cuts like a dream and is good looking. It is becoming my go to knife which I plan to use for many years to come.

This is easily the nicest knife I have ever even touched. So sharp out of the box it glides through whatever you’re cutting like butter. The construction is amazing quality, balance is perfect right at the notch, not to mention both the blade and handle are absolutely beautiful
