The handle is very sturdy and the blade is sharp. It made the whole cutting and “rocking” experience is smooth and easy.

First of all, I cannot get over how beautifully crafted this knife is. I have many knives but this became my favorite instantly.
The blade is super sharp as you would expect from a Japanese blade. Blade stay sharp exceptionally well given the hardened steel.
Yes, it is pricy but it will last you a lifetime if you take care of it.

The Perfect Do It All Knife!

This knife is awesome! It can do whatever you want it to do and is super durable. This is the first Japanese knife that I own, and I was questionable about the durability, but this is made so well I have no questions left about it. I cut through any veggie with ease, and meats such as steak and chicken all “cut like butter.” Highly recommend for yourself and for anyone you know.

More than just good looks

Perfectly weighted, razor sharp out of the box, and absolutely beautiful knife. Has become a centerpiece on my kitchen counter, and also just flat out fun to use when preparing meals. One of my favorite gifts I have ever received and makes me want to buy more knives from the maker.

These are the most comfortable knife I have ever held, perfect grip, and in paralleled sharpness. The grain in the wood pops with the beautiful blade. Would recommend to anyone that loves to cook!

My favorite knife!

I received this knife as a gift and love it! It's been such a pleasure to do all of my meal prep. The weight of this knife is ideal for me and it's my first rocking knife which is great for cutting vegetables, prepping onion & garlic and I especially love it for chopping onion, jalapeño and cilantro for guacamole.
