[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing knife! The weight is perfectly balanced for cutting and of course the blade is exceptionally sharp which makes cutting a breeze and most importantly, safe! I love how it rocks which makes dicing garlic and onions easy amongst other things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the handle shape and blade rocker. Compared side by side with a slightly cheaper Shun and I much preferred the Miyabi from the handle to the rocker and the blade material. This is a very nice knife and complements my Wusthöf knife set very well. I like the combination of German and Japanese style knives. I will say the steeper blade angle and thinner material makes this an insanely sharp knife. While a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife due to control I will warn that both my wife and I have cut ourselves and I have never cut myself on my Wusthöfs. Both cuts were almost paper cut like so not a big deal. We both did it by running our finger down the side of the blade to get veggies unstuck so beware of that. Now I only run my finger perpendicular to the blade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always knew that a good knife matters, but I didn't know the extent to which it can make a difference. This knife is sharp, beautiful, lightweight, and makes food prep so much easier! I don't think I'll be able to use a different knife now..
