Just got and unboxed it. (4/25/2025) This wok looks terrific as what I wanted, but it’s heavier more than I expected. I’ll have to follow the instruction about seasoning the wok first. I think cooking going to be better. Very exciting!!

Easy to season, works well with no food sticking, and relatively easy to care for. Also looks really pretty and takes on a nice darker color when seasoned.

Finally done with stir-frying in a skillet

Have made do with stir-frying in a skillet for years, but finally decided it was time for a wok. Did a lot of research ahead of time and settled on this one b/c I needed one with the flexibility to work on both conventional gas and induction cooktops. Have been really happy with this one thanks to the even heating, the fact that it comes with a lid, and that the lid and wok handles stay cool to the touch so I'm not wrestling with oven mitts. I have other Zwilling and Staub branded kitchenware and they've held up wonderfully over the years, so I'm expecting this one is no different.

First time using carbon wok and follow the instructions to use it and it come out non stick. Surprised!
