Great starting knife set

Needed, overdue upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using a knife set, that was more than I could afford, that I purchased more than 10 years ago it was time to upgrade. I love the knives but it was time for an upgrade. Im nothing more than a home cook, but me and my wife make everything from scratch (99% of the time), so cutting meats amd veggies is a daily routine. First use of the new knives was way more exciting than I thought food prep could be. They were comfortable. They came very sharp. It was satisfying to slice through things with such comfort and more confidence.
Now, a few more times using these knives, I still have no complaints. I really can't find a flaw in any of the knives, or block, or craftsmanship. They have held their sharpness and I don't think I will need to break out the sharpener as often as my old set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are great. The hilt is a bit slim along with the grip so I'm interested to see how the feel after a few more weeks of use.
Con is the pair of scissors. They're made in China and they have cheap blades that come pre-nicked/scratched
