Great set of knives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are well made with an easy to use handle. I am amazed at how sharp and accurate they can cut through food. I literally can see through the thin onion slices I’ve done. It’s been a few months without sharpening them and they’re still sharper than any other knives I’ve used. Being Made in Germany as opposed to being German crafted like the older JA Henckels Mikado set I upgraded from added assurance to how high quality made and crafted this 14 piece set is.

Great alternative to the PRO line

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the main difference seems to be the handle configuration the salesperson told me the same steel is used in both models. Since there was only one PRO set available, which wasn’t a good fit for us, we chose the 14 piece Gourmet set. Would have purchased a comparable PRO set had one been available but this is a great alternative.

Great Upgrade for my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful set which arrived today. So sharp I cut myself taking the knives outbid the protective wrapping and never even noticed. Can’t wait to start using them.
