The knives seem very sturdy and look great! Also happy they are made in Germany.
I do wish that the knife block had more variation in color. It's too soon to evaluate their performance!
Hopefully they will be excellent and last a long long time!

Beautiful knife set

A beautiful set of knives. They arrived nicely packaged. They feel good in your hands and slice, chop, and cut with ease. Of course they are super sharp. I like that there is information on different sharpening methods and to use the one that works best for you. Pricy but worth it.

A great knife set for a hobbyist chef. I only have one gripe with the block itself. I’m not sure why the block is made with such wide slots and vague specifications. Its almost as though the blocks are manufactured for use with multiple knife sets and not for bespoke sets. It is nice to have the option to fill the slots with knives purchased in the future, but I have other ways to store knives like that. Blocks I’ve used in the past have had more snug fits and no extra slots, which I prefer - that being said it doesn’t change that the knives themselves are good quality and long lasting, which is the important thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great knife set! Super sharp, good array of cooking knife options, and even steak knives too. There is a lifetime warranty and they also offer free sharpening services. Exactly what we need for our home!

Good knives bad block

Knived are beautiful and wicked sharp. Only 4 stats because the knife block has an extra missing spot for a knife and they dont fit very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The extra slot is to accommodate an extra Knife that would not come in the set. The size of the slots allows for enough room to remove the Knives in and out of the Storage Block safely and to keep allowing airflow around them therefore no bacteria can grow.
