[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first set of ZWILLING knife set and love the 14 piece set. The knifes have a solid balanced feel and is great to hold.
Used to cut a ripe tomatoes and cut through it like butter without squishing the tomato!
Glad we bought this and hoping for many years of service!

Nice but could be heavier weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sharp knives upon receipt but they could be a little heavier for greater stability. Also, th slots in the wood block are much larger than the knife blades themselves

Our Zwilling Gourmet series are precision-stamped from a single-piece of solid steel resulting in lighter weight than forged knives, allowing for maximum maneuverability without compromising sharpness and to make it easier on the wrist during long time cutting and dicing.
The slots sizes allow for enough room to move the knives in and out of the storage block safely and allows air to flow through the slots.
