[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got into smoking food last year in September for my birthday. Wife asked what I wanted this year and decided a proper high quality knife set would fill the bill. We’ve had a block set for about 20 years now and they just were never that sharp…and selling sharpening equipment is part of my job, you can say I’m an expert at edges. Looked at several brands and sets but picked this one as my own. Arrived promptly and in excellent shape. Yes, I have taken a few test cuts and wow, what a difference! Might suggest including bandaids with every purchase especially if the new owners are used to dull knives.

Good knives, terrible blocj

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knives are sharp-hope they hold up and don't trust. The block is generic and seems to easily allow the knives to be exposed to shock from bumps, etc. There is no right groove for any particular knif

Quality kives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you cook at home your better off getting a good set of knives that will keep a sharp edge. Me and my wife love how many knives come with this set for the price. I always have used two knives to cook the chef's knife and the smaller slicing knife. Now using the other kives for fruits or vegetables cutting is much easier just simply cutting a tomato it used to be so hard to keep it together now I just use the serrated utility knife and the tomato hotds together better for sandwiches or anything else for presentation.handles feel great in the hand gives good control.
