. So far it's works pretty well, I have noticed that it is chipping on the rim. For that reason I will no longer crack eggs on it. I did see other people complain about the same thing, but it's a small matter, with guarantee. Other than that I don't have any problems with it, using almost every day.
Love cooking with this pan. Nothing sticks, using less oil. A portion of 6 strips of bacon, flips as one, clinging to each other. Will buy another size.
Love the pan - lightweight and heats quickly with even heat distribution. Cleaning is a breeze and, while I got it for me because I was tired of battling the All-Clad cleanup of eggs and other hard-to clean foods, now the family uses it all the time -- wife (cook) -- included. Just ordered the 11" deep dish one as we cook a number of foods in large quantities like casserole style that need the deeper sides.
This is sort of a hybrid. It's a cross between the positive features of light weight aluminum pans and the positive features of cast iron. The result is the best worlds. I recommend without hesitation.
When the pan finally arrived and held it in my hand could tell immediately this was a quality piece of cookware. The first test was to fry a couple eggs. Just a pat of butter and set electric coil stove top to medium heat. Used the coil that best fit the pan. The pan seems to distribute the heat very evenly....the eggs cooked amazingly well and couldn’t say exactly why but the eggs tasted better.
