Great Asian knife, cuts everything!

What I love the most with this Miyabi Kaizen knife, chops quietly for its sharpness and functionality is awesome..!!!
I'd use this every day and never needed a lot of sharpening because it stays sharp as long that you honed it once in a while.
A VG10 super steel Japanese knife, scalpel-like sharpness with 65-layer Damascus flower design with katana edge. This exquisite, hand-hammered effect helps prevent food from sticking. Offers exceptional durability, cutting edge retention, and corrosion resistance.
Hand-honed blade finished with a true katana edge and a CRYODUR blade, ice-hardened to Rockwell 60. The blade is balanced by a refined D-shaped handle made of black linen Micarta handle.

This super sharp beautiful knife is great for chopping all kinds of vegetables, meat and fruits. The VG10 steel holds an edge for a long time with normal maintenance. The linen resin handle is very durable and is comfortable to hold.

The Kaizen collection is a beautiful line of Japanese knives. Sturdy, well weighted, the handle feels secure and nice in the hand and the edge is super sharp and narrow. Makes cutting through meats and veggies a joy.

Description says "Super Steel", it truly is. Fantastic for chopping large bunches of vegetables for soups and stir fry meals. Nothing sticks to this extra sharp Japanese made knife.

I love using this knife because it is so sharp and sturdy. It is useful for chopping vegetables meats and fruits alike. The hollow air pockets on the edge help keep food from sticking as you slice. The handle is made of Micarta which has a beautiful wood look without the downfalls of wood like swelling or cracking.

This wonderful Japanese santoku knife is made form the highest quality of Japanese steel. This knife is super sharp and has a hollow edge to reject the sticking of food.

I love the attention to detail on this knife. From the smooth transition between blade and handle, to the beautiful damascus layers protecting the razor sharp cutting steel this knife is IT! As a traditional shaped chinese chef knife it will get plenty of use in my kitchen. Meant to last a lifetime, the cutting edge certainly stays sharp and smooth unlike other Japanese brands that seem to nick a lot.

This is one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen! It is not only beautiful, it is super sharp and I feel like I can make more pressie cuts with it. I love the design on the blade and the width is great to move food from the cutting board to the pan. The handle is also pretty and comfortable to use.
