Best knife for small use

Light as a feather, sharp as a scalpel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved this utility knife (shotoh) since I first took it out of the lovely case. Balanced, sharp, and beautiful. When not in my knife roll, it's in my home kitchen on a magnetic wood bar, looking stunning.
My only knock is the excess printing on the blade opposite the Miyabi logo, it just looks busy.
Also, highly recommended to treat the birchwood handle with some food-grade oil/wax to preserve it. It darkens it a bit, but the protection is worth it, and in a way it customizes it for you.
