This SG2 damascus design is sure to catch your eye and be razor sharp. I was very surprised to see the difference in sharpness compared to some of my other knives. The birchwood handle is also very nice and provides a non-slip grip. Definitely worth the purchase!

Birchwood is one of my favorite Miyabi lines. I love the looks and the durablity, not to mention how sharp this knife is. SG2 super steel and a proprietary ice-hardening process make this a sharp and durable knife. The flower damascus design is very beautiful and I love to keep this knife on my magnetic bar so everyone can enjoy its beauty, but don't touch, for me only! Sorry, not sorry.

This little guy is loaded with features. SG2 forged carbon steel, 100 additional layers creating unique Damascus pattern, real birchwood handle and logo'd, weighted endcap to create perfect balance.

The Miyabi Birchwood line is one of my favorite and the utility knife is one of my most used knives in the kitchen. It is super sharp so can slice, dice, and chop with percision and it feels comfortable in my hand while using, which is very important. This knife is made of a super steel, SG2 and has gone through a special ice-hardening process. These processes are to create a durable and super sharp knife that stays sharp.

This blade is very unique. The blade is super sharp and the SG2 steel stays sharp for a long time. The Birchwood handle is very unique. Being made of wood each one is an individual piece. The Japanese artistry and heritage craftsmanship comes through in every part of this knife.
