Sharp and light weight

Extremely sharp out of the box and very light weight, altho I am used to heavier western knives. This is my first Japanese style knife and I can’t wait to use it at work

Comfortable in hand. Was concerned about the hard edges around the bolster, but this is hardly noticable. Balanced and sharp. Interested to see the longevity of the edge, but if reputation holds this is a great value for the money. Feels like a good step up in my kitchen.

So far I really like this knife. I'd owned a set of 1 man henkels for years and decided it was time to upgrade. This has done exactly what a chef knife should. Handle is comfortable, and it is very agile while cutting.

Beautiful chefs knife I received as a gift and so far loving it. Cuts so smoothly and has a lovely edged handle for better grip. Steel is a bit sensitive to water marks so just have to be careful to wash and dry right after using it. Other than that, love it!
