Great knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well built knife and great for e price. I just recently noticed some tarnishes even though I washed with hands and dried immediately.

Blade scratches easily

I have had this knife for about 4 months. I do not use it regularly, and I clean it using hot water soap and a regular sponge. Already the blade has a ton of scratch marks on it. It’s an aesthetic issue, and not the structural one, but I am surprised by how easily it’s been damaged considering the stated quality of the steel. Also, for what it’s worth, the blade design on the edge is more like a watermark, then an actual sign of welding. It looks more “authentic “in the pictures than in real life. Two surprising issues for such an expensive product.

Got this knife as a gift and using it is a dream! While using the knife I find that the handle sits nicely in my hand and not uncomfortable to use at all. The blade is also extremely sharp right out of the box. Cannot wait to use this throughout my life!!

Knife is bent, this is the second knife in a row from this line that is badly bent.

just got this knife in the mail and sad to say it has a crack in the handle. I haven't used the knife yet but the weight, shape of handle and edge of the blade all feel good. aside from the defect i like the knife and it seems promising.

Really impressed. I wasn't sure if I would find the handle comfortable, but it certainly is. Super sharp, slices cucumbers paper thin. Lightweight as you would expect a Japanese knife to be.
