My go to fry pan
on April 23, 2020
Posted by: Niner2015
This is my go to fry pan in my kitchen. It’s a great size for my everyday cooking needs. I love that this heats up so quickly, I typically don’t need to cook over a medium heat because it retains the heat so well thanks to the 7 layers of steel and aluminum with this pan. I like that it’s rivetless, so convenient for cleaning. The Silvinox finish makes these pans look brand new for years to come. A great quality fry pan from Demeyere, this is the best of the best cookware on the market.

Best Fry Pan Available

Hands down, this is the best stainless steel fry pan available. The 7-ply construction and the rivet-less handle make this THE go to fry pan in our kitchen. Eggs are a breeze in this pan (and so is everything else we've thrown into it). I definitely recommend this pan to anyone looking to get away from coated, non-stick cookware.

Very high quality, well made fry pan

We have our first piece of Demeyere Atlantis cookware, the 9.4" Fry pan, and it's fantastic. Demeyere was highly recommended by an acquaintance, and with the recommendation and the features, I decided to get one. I started with the 9.4" fry pan and am looking forward to getting more pieces. The pan heats very evenly so there are no hot spots and burning. The bottom stays flat and items cook well. Most folks would say that you can do the same thing with a much cheaper pan, but the difference in cooking with this compared to our old (not cheap or no-name stainless) was shocking. This fry pan was worth every penny!

Great Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Quality, Yet I bought 9in, 12.5in and 11inch. Only the 12.5 came with a sealed rim. Not sure what makes a difference. Still have Great pans and heavy duty. I Love them. Have only cooked in 12.5in so far. Scratch easy even with plastic utensils. I have scratches. Guessing I did it with Hard plastic. I didn't inspect prior. Doesnt hurt the cooking though. I am guessing pepper and other tough spices can do it. It's a skillet.Cleans up easy. Add hot water to pan after cooking and all will be an easy clean. Probably use wood or silicon utensils. Heats even. Better than anything I have used. Cant wait to use the 9.4 for me. I also have All Clad. Demeyere wins.

Great product but the warranty and registration process is confusing.
I just bought it one month ago. It is my most expensive and worst pan. I am so disappointed. It is sticky and hard to wash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to review your purchase. Looking at the photo, it does appear that the pan may have been overheated/scorched, which can make cleanup difficult. However, if soaking and usual cleaning is not successful, you can polish this pan to its original finish with Bar Keepers Friend. In the future, you may want to lower the heat you are using as much as possible. Also, to avoid sticking, try to use an oil with a high smoke point, and wait for the food to naturally release before attempting to move or turn it. We hope this helps! Happy cooking!
My first stainless skillet, after using cast iron for 30 years. It's taken a little adjustment, and patience to let it heat up before cooking, but I like it, a lot. The cast iron has gone to storage.
