Wow, why did I wait so long for good knives?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had bad knives my whole adult life and then was given this as a house warming gift. Wow, it sliced through a watermelon like it was butter. That's never been my experience before. I'm delighted to have such a nice knife now. Though I'm now afraid I'll cut my finger. Never had to worry about that before!

Kitchen Must Have

This knife is from a collection of knives made in Spain by Henckels. Made from German steel and forged, it has some of the hallmarks of the German made Zwilling cutlery. Since the chef knife can do almost all kitchen tasks, this is a must have for someone who cooks often. Great value as well for an 8" forged chef knife.
