The three shapes in this set are a perfect assortment to get a variety of small tasks done.
I love the bird beak for small stone fruit and the 3" kudamono knife has that straighter edge which makes it ideal for scallions and herbs.

These 3pc. variety of paring knives are so useful to have in every kitchen for every cook. It is used for small food peeling and cutting, beak knife can also be used for taking out unwanted bones in between meat. Good stuff at great value!!!

I like having some knives that I can use for things other than food. I can still use it to pare an apple or peel a carrot, but when I need to slice open a package, or clip a coupon I don't feel bad using these. they stay sharper ,longer than I thought they would and at this price, they far exceed my needs!
