Great value for the money. The knife is made out of high quality German steel so is durable for the long haul. Can do any job in the kitchen. Bolster is strong and has no stress points. Dishwasher safe is a nice bonus.

Their affordable, quality knives feel good in the hand and retain their sharp edges which really make slicing and dicing effortless and controlled. That's why I purchased a Henckels Forged Synergy 8" Chef's Knife as my go-to knife in the kitchen for most everyday food preparation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it was very sharp. But aside from the obvious, it fit well in my hand and the handle weight was even which created a very balanced knife for my grip.

Modern and comfortable

I was in the market for a new chef's knife and I am so glad to have found this one! I love that the design includes metal that runs through the handle. The width of the the blade is great that makes it easy to smash things like garlic and it has a greater curve that makes rocking the blade while chopping very easy.

Zwilling does a great job of competing in the value cutlery market. The Henckels International knife lines are always a cut above the competition. This knife has a good balance and looks very modern. Will stay sharp and last a long while with proper care.
