This is the best tomato knife ever! I love this little knife. It is sharp and cuts so well. The handle is lightweight and a comfortable fit. Great price too!

If you have read some of the reviews, this knife is made to last for years and years. It is made of German steel, made in Germany and ice-hardened which gives it the durablity to be one of your longest lasting knives. I use this on all things needing a serrated knife but mostly i like having it for my tomatoes. It fits perfectly in my hand and is comfortable.

Great little knife

I love using this knife for things with slippery skins, like tomatoes and bell peppers because I find the serration grips the skin and makes it easier to get through. I also use this to cut through sandwiches so that I don't crush the bread. The handle is very comfortable to use.

There’s a reason the Four Star line has been a part of Zwilling’s lineup forever. It was designed with professionals in mind, so the focus was on safety, comfort and durability. The ‘grippy’ polypropylene handle is proportionate to the blade and the work - therefore no excess weight. The blade steel and method of construction is proprietary and at the forefront of technology. The blade can both take a beating and hold an edge, ideal for daily use and hard work.
This serrated edge blade will never need sharpening while it is at work in a kitchen. Use it for food items with tough skins and soft interiors to for a smooth slice – baguettes and tomatoes come to mind first. Although dishwasher safe, all knives perform and look better if they are hand washed. I’ve had a Four Star in my collection for decades. And it still comes out for certain jobs. I expect it will be there for a while longer.
