This knife is my number one knife for processing all vegetables and trimming meat. I have given this knife along with your 3.5” and 4” Parer to over ten friends and family over the years. Please bring back the 3.5” Parer. They also agree that these knives are perfect to be utilized for any type of processing meat and vegetables. I’ve been a devoted fan of your 4 star knives since my tour of duty in Germany back in the late 1970’s.

I got my first one over 10 yrs. ago after finding out how they were made an was truly impressed with the warranty as well as the product. Soon after I got a butcher block and customize my own set along with a large sharpening steel & 2 types of scissors. One of my saddest days was opening a box after moving into my new apartment and finding one of my favorites, my 5" serrated broken..., it was a good run an I was a little sick until I got it replaced.

I was at my parents while she was preparing a meal. She has the Four Star set but was using this knife for everything she did. I asked why she was only using that knife? Her response was this is my favorite knife. I use it for everything.

This little serrated utility knife is what you need to add to your block/drawer. I like the Four Star handle because it is so traditionally weighted and comfortable. And the size of the serrated blade is one that is essential for cutting any small to medium sized foods that have a tough exterior and soft interior.

Great serrated knife

This is a great lightweight serrated utility blade, perfect for slicing tomatoes, fruits, english muffins, anything small while being able to still use a cutting board.

The serrated edge of this utility makes easy task of slicing tomatoes, citrus fruit, crusty bread, etc. German forged blade for long lasting edge and comfortable molded handle.

One Tough Little Knife

This knife does a lot. Most people would think its just for slicing bread but you can use it to cut melons, eggplant, cucumbers - anything with a hard exterior and soft interior.

This is the perfect knife for cutting anything hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Tomatoes, crusty breads for sure. I also like it for melons, eggplant and other fruits. The edge is great and doesn't need sharpening for a long time. I've had this knife for 5 years use it regularly, and is still sharp as ever.
