It's hard to believe the detail and construction of this bread knife. I just like using it for slicing my crusty breads. I think it makes the breads taste better!

Beautiful Japanese crafter blade and knife. The serrated edge glides effortless through hard bread with clean slices. Also excellent for baked sweet breads, angel food cake, tomatoes and citrus fruit.

The handle on these knives feel so secure and smooth in your hand and look absolutely beautiful over time. The 101 layer Damascus is stunning and gives the knife a nice balance.

If you own any Birchwood knives, you will want to add this one! Having a beautiful bread knife for your French bread, is a wonderful addition to the table. It feels great in the hand - as the birchwood is a special and comfortable wood handle. The thin blade stays sharp and is strong and durable from the many layers of steel.

A good bread knife is a game changer! It slices through a fresh loaf of bread with the greatest of ease, not tearing or smashing. Birchwood does this while being exceptionally beautiful too!
The birchwood handle is so unique. It is very comfortable with its traditional Asian D shape plus the birchwood material makes it very slip resistant. I love how the handle will become very personal as it absorbs oils from your hands and develops its own personality.
The 100 layer Damascus blade is made from a very sharp SG2 steel core that not only makes it very durable but incredibly beautiful.
If you want an authentic Japanese knife, end your search with Miyabi. They are made and sold in Japan as the premium knife.

It's hard to say which is my favorite part of this knife...the handle or the blade! This bread knife effortlessly cuts through any loaf and feel free to use it to tackle other serrated knife jobs like fajita meat or a cake. The Birchwood handle is spectacular and so functional because of the comfortable slip-free feel in your hand.
