This forged knife is all you need to slice homemade bread. The teeth on the serration grab and pierce the crust then slide right thru the bread without tearing or smashing the interior.

Solid bread knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is insanely well-balanced (but still with a nice weight to it), sharp enough to cut through my loaves like nothing, and just all around comfortable and trustworthy. Definitely a go-to for a reliable and beautiful bread knife!

This bread knife can attack many projects in the kitchen. It slices through the thickest round shaped breads with ease. I also use it on any melons. It pierces the thick rinds instantly and slide right through. Also great on eggplant.

Good bread knife. Serrated for lasting sharpness, it will cut through the crustiest bread you can find. The Forged Premio line is a handsome set of knives. They are all forged from German steel and made to very exacting standards. The full tang blade runs through the integrated bolster and triple riveted handle for maximum stability and durability.
Dishwasher safe, but I always hand wash my knives. I like them to look new and dishwashing detergents are very hard on knives.
