Quality Santoku

Classic is forged and made of German steel but made in Spain. You get a knife that's as close to the Germany knives at a fraction of the cost. The classic santoku is a great addition to any set; it chops perfectly and the little dimples help sticky foods release from the blade.

I use this knife for so many tasks in the kitchen but especially when I need to chop, slice or dice. The Santoku is one of my choice blade styles because one kife can accomplish so many tasks. The hallowed out sections on the knife keep whatevery you are slicing, dicing, or cutting, off of your knife. That means no sticking and veggies stay on the cutting board and not your knife.

Great Vale Santoku

This santoku is a great value. I was looking for a santoku that was a value line for a gift and this was perfect! It isn't made in China, instead it is made in Spain, so I felt better about purchasing it. Will definitely get more of these as gifts in the future!

Santoku is great for chopping!

You'll love chopping with a santoku style knife instead of a chef's knife. The hollowed air pockets allow for vegetables to fall off the blade as you cut instead of sticking to the blade.

Great knives that will last

I've had a set of Henckels Classic for more than 20 years. They have been terrific. They have made many meals and held their edge. This santoku is one of my favorites. It will chop any vegetables and the tip will cut around any kale stalk. Excellent knives!

Iam new to specialty knives but this one feels like it will be a staple in my kitchen. love the flat cutting edge, It gives me plenty of contact with the cutting board. The little hollow outs help release potatoes, cucumbers and other moist food that usually sticks to the blade after slicing. I would recommend this new style knife to anyone that does a lot of vegetable cutting!

This knife makes it easy to cut anything

This is a great knife for the price! I love how it has the ovals on the sides so that the food doesn't stick and I don't get a bunch of vegetables falling off the blade all at the same time. I love how this knife is made in Spain, unlike most of the other knives in this price range that come from China. The handle is such a beautiful classic look and I would recommend this knife to anyone!
