Great weight and quality knife!

This Classic santoku blade is really great quality for an excellent price. The santoku is great for jobs like mincing and chopping and the hollow edge divets help to guide food up and off of the blade while cutting. I really like the weight of the Classic knives and the handles make it extra comfortable.

Added this Japanese Chef Knife to the Classic assortment placed in our cabin. The straighter profile provides precision cutting of vegetables and effortless chopping. Durable German stainless steel with classic three riveted handle.

Good Price, Great Knife

Great Kinfe for chopping, slicing and dicing. Santokus are best for working with fruits and vegetables. Product easily slides off knife allowing continued use versus not having to stop and push the product off the blade. Good price for a sharp essential knife.

Great alternative knife

This is a great knife if you want to use a different large blade for your everyday cooking. It’s one of my go to knives in the kitchen; it's really great for chopping produce, and with the indention on the blade, food doesn’t stick to it as easily which is really convenient.

great design for smaller hands

My daughter uses this knife on a regular basis. the 7" blade is perfect for beginners and those intimidated by the larger 8" knife. It's pretty light weight which is also a plus for her.

The classic line is made from German steel and even fully forged. The santoku is great for vegetate prep and can go through the toughest of vegetables. It is a great addition to a 8" chef.
