[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought my new Henckels Premio Forged 8" Chef's knife. Can't believe I spent so much money on one knife, but my sister said they are worth it and great to have a knife that doesn't need to be sharpened or seldom. Can't wait to try it out!

Sculpted handle for long use

The sculpted handle on this chef's knife has made it popular for folks who spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It's a comfortable grip for many different size hands. This Forged Premio line is a handsome set of knives. Each knife is forged from German steel and made to very exacting standards. The fine edge blades made from high quality stainless steel can take and hold an edge ensuring years and years of enjoyable use. Hone them regularly. The full tang blade runs through the integrated bolster and triple riveted handle for maximum stability and durability.
Dishwasher safe, but I always hand wash my knives. I like them to look new and dishwashing detergents are very hard on knives.
