Should have gotten sooner

Recently on a vacation, our hotel room had a good santoku knife and I had a great time using it. My usual chef's knife just didn't feel right after that, so when I saw a Zwilling store I walked in and got myself a santoku knife. This has made my life so much easier; I wish I had upgraded to a proper knife much sooner than continuing to use my cheap knife set.

The form, fit and function are terrific. Hollow edge is a significant help with solid vegetables like potatoes and the 7 inch is perfect for a utility knife like this.
