It has an eye catching damascus flower designs that made you turn around after leaving it behind. MIYABI's innovative, ice-hardening process locks in the long-lasting sharpness of the CRYODUR blades.
This is such a stunning looking knife! 101 layers with a SG2 core, hand crafted and super sharp. The Birchwood handle feels great in your hand plus each one is an original. The Nakiri is an excellent shape for lots of vegetable prep.
This top of the line Miyabi knife is amazingly sharp. The Birchwood line is one of my favorite due to its cutting ability. There are actually 101 layers to this knife creating a beautiful piece of art in the knife world. The Nakiri does it all in the kitchen.
Beautiful, quick, sharp!! I use this knife constantly and mostly for vegetable prep. I use this knife instead of my mandoline. It really does the job! The handle is beautiful and comfortable. Another great Miyabi knife for my collection.
The Miyabi Birchwood collection is one of my favorites, and I absolutely love using the Nakiri. I had never used this blade style before, but when I handled and chopped with this knife for the first time, it was amazing. It cuts so effortlessly due to the fact that it's constructed with 100 layers of SG2 steel. The handle is smooth and feels great to hold as you chop through produce. It’s a great, sharp, beautiful Japanese knife.
Using this beautiful knife when cooking brings me a lot of joy! I'm an art lover and I feel like this knife is a work of art, with 100 layers of steel and a the beautiful wood handle. It's one of the sharpest Japanese knives available. Great to use on vegetables and to cut through gristle.
