This is a massive knife and it cuts really well. The Pro knife is forged really well that it makes it a super durable knife, and it also has a nice curved bolster as they call it, so I can really grip this large knife securely and with ease. The perfect knife for cutting large pieces of meat, fish, without having to put a lot of effort into the cuts.
Very useful for chopping vegetables and also cutting boneless meats. The broad side of the blade makes an easy task of scooping cut items from the chopping board. Pro curved bolster promotes pinch grip for safety and control.
The cleaver to end all cleavers. This heavy-duty knife offers the durability you want in a cleaver with the addition of ultimate comfort with the curved bolster. Maximize control and precision with this amazing Pro cleaver.
It’s really an excellent knife for me to prepare my Chinese dishes. Shape and flexible for chopping vegetables and meats. Reasonable weight even for a lady. As a full time mother, it do helps me a lot in the efficient way as it fulfilled over 90% of my cooking needs.
Great quality no question about that. But for a Pro knife coming from Zwilling's, this knife is a disappointment. If you guys are so tied up to the style of knife you used to make, Just stop calling yourselves masters in the knife-making industry and keep make the knifes you knew how to make. You guys should really do better if you are what you advertise instead of putting a random knife's edge on a more square stock.

I bought this knife two years ago and have yet to need to sharpen it. I am not a professional chef but I do enjoy cooking, so this knife have seen its fair share of action. I love the weight and the grip and of course that German steel and workmanship. The only thing I dislike about this knife is that the knife's thickness makes it clumsy to do delicate work like slicing horizontally. Traditional Chinese chef's knives tapers off from much higher on the body, giving it a lower edge angle. Having said that, the combination of good steel and additional thickness at the edge makes it much (MUCH) more resilient than my Japanese knife. If you are looking for a workhorse of a knife, you have just found it.
