Sturdy Vegetable Knife

This knife isn't for everyone because of it's size and weight. But for me, it's great for chopping large, hard vegetables. The sharpness of the blade requires little effort to cut through most anything. The curved bolster ensures that I hold it correctly which is key to proper cutting. I'm not a chef, just a mom, but weilding this I feel a certain amount of power.

The problem with this knife is it’s not a classical vegetable clever (per say); I say so because it should be both a couple inches longer and wider. Nonetheless, it’s okay (shrug!)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You will never have a vegetable that you can't get into with this heavy duty Cleaver. Made for those tough squashes, melons and root vegetables this makes what used to be a daunting chore a breeze.

This 7" Pro Cleaver is great at chopping hardy & root vegetables (carrots, turnip, broccoli etc). The handle is very comfortable when I chop large bunches and use a lot more than I thought I might.

This vegetable cleaver performed an outstanding cutting edge and coverage. It cuts mostly everything, from vegetable to meat that has no bone, is a must have knife.

This clever is not intimidating to use. It's just the right size and weight. i use this for making cole slaw and other veggie prep. the grip is super comfortable and I like the classic look of this knife.
Go ahead and smash your garlic with this clever and then use it to pick up the pieces.
It's a great tool to have in your block set.
