This is the perfect knife for people who do not like working with a larger knife. You can do so many tasks with the prep knife and with the curved bolster, you can work for extended periods of time without any wrist fatigue. A win-win!

My favorite knife

I love everything about this knife. The quality German forged blade and design are just the beginning. I love the curved bolster....it is so comfrtable in my grip. The size is aboslutly perfect. Larger than a paring knife, smaller than a chef/santoku. It really meets most of my food prep needs. Also having the handle of set unlike a pairing knife it is great for in hand work as well as on a cutting board.

This knife came part of a block set I purchased, and I am so glad it was included. It looks just like a mini chefs knife, and can do the same things.
I use it for smaller slicing, dicing, mincing and chopping jobs in the kitchen. I love the curved bolster which makes it so comfortable to hold, and the full tang adds the weight that makes it feel very secure in my hand. Hard to believe I would prefer using this knife over an 8" chefs knife, but I really do!
