My favorite knife

I love everything about this knife. The quality German forged blade and design are just the beginning. I love the curved bolster....it is so comfrtable in my grip. The size is aboslutly perfect. Larger than a paring knife, smaller than a chef/santoku. It really meets most of my food prep needs. Also having the handle of set unlike a pairing knife it is great for in hand work as well as on a cutting board.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the perfect knife for people who do not like working with a larger knife. You can do so many tasks with the prep knife and with the curved bolster, you can work for extended periods of time without any wrist fatigue. A win-win!

Super sharp, super useful prep knife... Angled bolster helps you get in there! Best thing, however, is knuckle space for staying on cutting board.

Great little knife

I absolutely love this knife! I grab it whenever I am cutting anything from slicing up an apple, chopping garlic, and slicing shallots and oranges. I find it much easier to maneuver than longer knives, so this is my go to knife. I also have pretty small hands and the handle fits into my hand better than a larger knife.

the perfect blen of paring knive and 6" chef

When you don't need that big Chefs knife, this is the best go to I have ever used. The knife is a great knife for prep chopping because of the knuckle clearance, the flatness of the blade and the deeper width than a classic paring knife. When you are chopping its easy to turn upside down and use the back of the blade to scoop the food like you tend to do with chef knives but cannot do with parers or utilities.

When a chef's knife is too big reach for this

This prep knife is the perfect knife for everyday cutting, slicing and chopping. If you prefer the feel of a smaller sized knife over a larger chef's knife this one can still handle all your cutting tasks. The curved bolster provides the most comfortable pinch grip and the handle weight is balanced perfectly. Very sharp!

The best German Prep

There is not a better German prep knife out there. This knife is perfectly balanced, three riveted handle, and has a curved bolster. I have never used a prep knife a love so much. This knife is most certainly an essential asset to the kitchen!
