Great substitute for a chef knife

I gifted this knife to my 80 year old sister, who is afraid of an 8 ' chef knife, thinking it's too big to use. For her needs, this is the perfect size knife. She can use it as a chef knife since the curved bolster allows her to hold it in a way that protects her fingertips. It's very comfortable in her hand. She loves its sharpness and wishes she bought this knife years ago. It's the only knife she uses anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this prep knife. I bought the Zwilling Pro knife block set and it had this in it. I use it for so many things and loved it so much that I ordered another one! Very sharp and cuts anything!

Nice bolster and amazing edge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The partial bolster is great for pinch grip, the blade is a great, versatile size. I find myself wanting to use it for paring, mincing herbs, everything. The edge is razor sharp, so be careful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used it a few times so far but it’s very easy to use. Cuts up fruit with ease. Super sharp, lightweight and has a good feel in your hand, the handle has a comfortable feel about it. What’s more important is you feel confident using it. By that I mean it feels safe and concise. It feels secure in your hand against slips. Slices are exactly as you want them in terms of thickness using this very accurate instrument.
