I like this configuration in the block because you get 7 knives, and all of them are knives that are used frequently. If you were to buy 7 premium knives alone, it would be more than the block set itself and you get shears and a honing steel. I use the knives in this block daily so good to keep close at hand to your working area in the kitchen. Block looks nice as well

This is an amazing block set. You get seven of the most frequently used knives you'll never need to buy another knife. This is an heirloom block that is sure to get passed down due to the high quality German Steel that stay sharp use after use and resharpens beautifully. These are corrosion and chip resistant with a comfortable three rivet handle and full tang of steel to the end for a perfect weight in your hand.

Perfect block

I, for one, prefer not to have my steak knives in my block, just keeping it to kitchen knives. The assortment is perfect, love having a boning knife in my set and Im learning to use my santoku more as well. Shears are the best in the marketplace!

This block has all the essential knives, plus a honing steel and kitchen shears! This is a great complete set. The only thing it is missing is some wonderful steak knives. I love this set!

This knife set is all you'll ever need in one place! I love that it comes with both a chef's knife and a santoku knife so I have a choice when I am cooking. I also love that the block takes up a relatively small amount of space on my counter top and looks really nice there.

Great variety with this set. Every knife, for every job! These are solid, hefty, German steel knives that are designed to last a lifetime. The full bolster creates balance and a perfect resting spot for your thumb and index finger.
Sharp, durable and well balanced. the handle is classic is design with the three rivets.

This 10 piece has it all. Great assortment of knives that have perfect balance. The age-old GSS that Zwilling has been known for for nearly 300 years. Nice santoku addition as well. Compact block sits on smallest of counters.

classic design and quality

I love cooking and really wanted some great knives.The Pro-S series are wonderful. They have that classic three rivet design and feel like the knives i am familiar with. The forged high carbon German steel really makes a difference.They are super sharp and stay that way for a long time.
