My wife and I have had the same set of knives for quite some time, but were due for an upgrade. We went with the Professional "S" 10-piece set to replace our old set. The difference is noticeable, and the knives are much nicer to grip and easier to use.

Unique Block Set

Pro S is one of the Top of the Line knife sets in the Zwilling German made cutlery assortment. What is unique about this set is getting a 5.5" boning knife as one of the 7 knives in the set. Usually a separate purchase, the boning knife is essential when trimming meat, chicken and pork. It also comes in handy when segmenting fruit for salads or fruit trays. Made to last a lifetime, this 10 piece set is a great value.

Great Premium Set

Professional S is a timeless design in knives. Three rivets, forged German steel blade, perfectly weighted and balanced. You cannot go wrong with this workhorse set. It has a bread knife which is a requirement for me but it also comes with a boning knife. This blade is rarely seen in a 10 pc block. It can accomplish so many tasks with its flexible blade, working around chicken or pork chop bones. But it also handles the the task of segmenting oranges, a favorite of my grandchildren. These knives are going to last a lifetime; worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a surprise UPS just left and we opened the box. Such great value. Completing the warranty was a snap just a picture in my phone. Knives have such a great feel. The weight and balance are as advertised and such a joy to handle. Love these knives.

Top of the Line German Knives

These knives are some of Zwilling's top of line products. Made with Special Formula German Steel and forged from on piece of steel these knives will last a life time. Razor sharp and the block has every knife you would need in a kitchen. The block is made from beautiful birch-wood.

This is one of the most quintessential blocks from the Zwilling family. The traditional Pro S knives are perfectly weighted and balanced with a comfortable bolster for a controlled grip. Get all the knives you need in this 10pc while maintaining their edge and angle with frequent use of the included honing steel.
