This will be one of the best Miyabi knife you can have. It is sharp, outstanding inside out with a D shape handle.. So, it is another must have Kaizen knife though Kaizen II has a more intirquit damascus pattern creating barrier between the setel and the food you cut.
This knife has a beautiful damascus pattern made out of FC61 steel which is a tough hard metal that has great edge retention. With the new handle design the knife feels good in right or left hands.
The blade on this knife is modern, sleek and beautifully designed. Lot's of layers of Damascus show the true craftsmanship of this line. Chef friendly knife and comfortable handle . Great Deal!!
This knife is created from the durable FC61 steel and has an additional 48 layers of protection surrounding the core. My favorite think about this knife is the handle, its reminiscent of the traditional Japanese D shaped handle but is more rounded - so comfortable for working on big jobs.
This is a really great Japanese Chef knife. The Kaizen II has a beautiful blade and the Micarta wood handle feels really smooth in hand, and has a nice roundedness to it. With the blade having 48 layers of steel, you can really feel how much of a difference that makes when cutting fish, meat or produce. A great knife to have in the kitchen.
This redesigned Kaizen II chef knife has a 49 layer Damascus pattern blade and Pakkawood handle with larger bolster for added comfort. Still razor sharp for precision cutting.
This is one of my favorite Miyabi lines and knives. The classic Miyabi handle is ultra comfortable while the mega sharp 8" blade easily tackles numerous prep tasks. The beautiful damascus pattern and layers reenforce the strength and durability that is expected in an Asian knife.
